Our Countertop coatings are not just a protective coatings although much tougher than the original laminate it is also more flexible than laminate. Our countertop coatings are used for garage floors, decks, and other types of flooring. We have heat tested our countertop coating at 450 degrees with no damage to the coating, this is not to say that you can put hot pot`s on your counter as the heat may de-laminate the laminate and cause blistering.
